Drake "Thank Me Later" Review

The Most anticipated album since the invention of music comes out today, well, maybe not that huge,
but it probably is the biggest release this year in Hip-Hop & R&B depending on how you look at it.

First off, if you listening to the album with the expectations of getting strictly a hip-hop album you be sadly
disappointed espescally since he sings on every hook on the album. There are even a couple tracks that
are basically R&B/Pop but that is what was expected.

The Album starts off with Fireworks, the Alicia Keys assisted track sets the tone of the album, Women, Regrets and Fame are all present themes throught and Ms.Beatz does a great job adding emotion on this
hook

Drake get's into his best form on the track "The Resistance" maybe the best track on the album where he raps, "Im living inside a moment not taking pictures to save it" its a "40" produced track and it has the "Drizzy" feel

The Album has lots, Im mean LOTS of features, the standouts would be Up All Night ft. Nicki Minaj, this one is definitely a crew track for years to come, I've kinda already applied it to my crew, O&O baby...
Sorry
And the other great feature would be Light Up ft.Jay-Z, not so much for Drake but because Jay-Z delivered a classic grown man verse which took the track over the top

The album ends with the Timberland assisted track "Thank Me Now" where he proclaims, "You can thank me now, gone head, thank me later yeah I hear what I said, but that me later never comes so instead.....You can thank me now"

Now that we finally have the album that we've all waited for we can discuss, is it a classic. Well, is it? No, Drake's album is far from classic, FAR, but is it a good album? Yes, Really Good, It'll stay in my rotation for a little while. Not everybody can come into the league their first year and be LeBron.

He'll still go plat though.....so whatever
