Loyalty or Royalty: By Leslie Marsh

Loyalty or royalty which do you choose. It is your choice right? As a fan of Lebron James I have to admit when the decision dropped so did my heart. I couldn’t imagine for the life of me why this “KING” of talents would decide to take a near peasant role (in comparison). I mean Batman wouldn’t Change into Robin’s uniform would he? I mean he might if it meant victory. But hold up isn’t that what being a NBA player is all about winning and winning big? I guess I wanted him to be a bit more umm let’s say cocky and a lot less
humble. I must admit it sounds stupid when I say it. Charles Barkley said “If I was 25 I would try to win it myself.” My rebuttal to such statement was umm Chuck didn’t you try that and not win? I mean #imjustsaying (for my tweeters). Chuck basically said “Yea I ran into that wall and busted my head open and if I could I would do it again” not very wise ring-less Charles Barkley. MAKE no mistake we all know Cleveland surely was and will never be the type of team this Miami Heat team now is (directed at Dan Gilbert).
I say Batman is Batman even when he is in the Justice League. I respect him (Lebron James) for the willingness to step into a smaller role. Playing forever trying to be greater than Jordan and never winning a championship wasn’t going to be the best of legacies to have. On the flip side LEBRON JAMES’S name is now etched in history. He left Cleveland. Awww lol who didn’t? (sports wise).  Lebron James is the Best player at playing any position.  I don’t think you can argue it! He can play the 1 thru the 5.  Not only that, but he can also play the number 2 to a number 1. How many superstars can u say that about?  I guess you can say Kobe did it but let’s be real he wasn’t Kobe that we all know now yet. Lebron James is willing to go from the man to whatever the Heat need him to be. Is that really a weak decision I since sacrifice behind such decision respectable trait if you ask me.
I believe Lebron made the best decision Dynasty wise and NBA success wise. Now off the court Legacy and all that wise I don’t know. He had to choose between Loyalty or Royalty. Somehow I think he chose both. How did he do that you say?  Here is why, because “it takes true Royalty to make a decision that is Loyal to one’s own heart”. @lajitpoet (quote me on that). Lebron James is human like me and you (somehow we forget that) and he made a hard decision and I didn’t like it initially but I respect it now and him more because of it. With all that being said GO HEAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (hahahahahahahahah)
